As big food lovers ourselves we know how much we all like to overindulge at Christmas. That is why we have decided to share with you 5 stunning walking routes, where you can walk off the Cheshire Farm Roast potatoes and Christmas Day chocolates!

Bosley and Croker Hill Walk – Macclesfield

This is an energetic but spectacular walk with fabulous views across the Cheshire Plain and Peak District.

Borrowpit Meadow – Alsager

Pleasant walking through woods, by pools and with views afar.

Kerridge Loop – Bollington

Bollington is known for its cotton mills and is an attractive small town with excellent facilities, situated in beautiful countryside.

Raw Head Walk – Chester

Rugged sandstone outcrops, lofty trees and panoramic views both east and west across a patchwork landscape, combine to create an invigorating walk.

Brereton Heath – Congleton

Designated as a Local Nature Reserve, Brereton Heath was a quarry site for silica sand. The lake is surrounded by habitats restored to the original landscape of heather and silver birch trees.
